Through the ups and the downs, Flatiron care ministries are there to care for you in the midst of physical, financial, emotional and spiritual crisis.
Our first line of care is Life Groups. These are spaces where we meet midweek to discuss Sunday’s message, how it impacts us, and how we can do life together. Meeting your new group shouldn’t be scary. If you’re ready to connect with others who want to walk alongside you and grow in faith with you, join today!
This is one-on-one care for adults who could use steady support during a difficult season.
You’ll be matched with a trained Stephen Minister from Flatiron who meets with you weekly to listen, pray, encourage you, and offer emotional and spiritual care.
This may be helpful if you’re facing grief, illness, job loss, divorce, loneliness, family stress, or a major life change.
Everything shared is confidential. This is not counseling or therapy, and some situations may need professional care instead.
You are out of focus. Do you understand yourself? Do you feel lost? Do you ever ask yourself where is God? This can be a confusing world. Our God desires that you be oriented and anchored in Him. You need God especially during hard times. When a crisis comes, you need extra help. Counseling provides a safe haven of wisdom in God’s Word and a compassionate listening ear.
Temptations, sin and suffering in this world are common. Biblical counseling brings confidence in Christ alone, not techniques or formulas. We watch the Lord reveal Himself to you and orient you to the ways of Jesus.
Our specific goal in counseling is to walk beside you for a period of time, reveal and/or remind you of the God of scripture and His truths. Through the process we will encourage you and work with you to connect with members of your church for long term care.
The Scriptures are the authority for all of life. God tells us that. “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” – 2 Peter 1:3
Hi, I’m Kristie and I’m an Arizona native. I love living and working in the Queen Creek community. My husband and I have been married for 20+ years and are raising our five kids on an acre of land that we share with an ever-changing assortment of animals. I hold a Master of Arts in marriage and family therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Grand Canyon University. Other things I love include Friday date nights, iced coffee, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and any time my kids are nice to each other!
I understand relationships to be incredibly powerful forces in our lives. They can be the source of our deepest joy and our deepest pain. But healthy relationships do not always come easily. Despite our best intentions, we inevitably experience tension, confusion, and conflict at different points along the way.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, it is my privilege to work with couples, individuals, children, and families as they navigate these challenging seasons of life. I would love to meet you, hear your story, and find out how I can help.
