Walking into a new church is scary.

We all have questions when we visit new places. At Flatiron, our goal is to make your visit seamless and stress-free. We’re committed to going the extra mile in helping plan your visit.

Lead Pastor Brian wants to personally share what to expect on a Sunday when you visit with us. Below, you can find detailed information about how Flatiron gathers on a Sunday and pursues Jesus together.

What's a Sunday like?

For Adults

When you arrive to Flatiron Church, look for our bright orange “New Here, Start Here!” tent. Stop by and meet friendly faces ready to help get your Sunday started. Once inside, grab a free coffee and head to the Worship Center.

Our services last just over an hour, starting with 3-4 worship songs, followed by a message from Pastor Brian Pacheco on a timeless truth found in Scripture.

After service, Pastor Brian and Flatiron Church Staff will be available in the lobby to meet you and answer any questions you might have. When you’re ready, we’d love to help you take your next steps in following Jesus.

For Kids

Flatiron Kids is more than childcare—kids learn the same life-changing truths we teach adults, just on their level. We know discipling your kids is a privilege, and we prioritize safety and transparency are our top priorities.

That’s why we’re committed to helping your kids know, love, and follow Jesus. Whether they’re learning to share with friends, singing and dancing, or studying Scripture, we want to create an environment where they can grow and take their next step in faith.

In the lobby you’ll find Flatiron Kids check-in stations where a volunteer will assist you before dropping your kids off at their classroom. To pre-register for this Sunday, click the button below.

For Students

Middle School and High School years are critical for growing as followers of Jesus. They need a space where their name is known, their unique story is loved, and they can engage deeper with the Gospel.

Students meet Sunday nights from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. We host separate focused services for Middle and High School students where they can learn what it means to abide with Jesus where they are in life.

Our goal is to partner with parents and equip their students to take their next step in faith.

Special Needs

At Flatiron, we are committed to sharing the love of Christ by creating a place of hope, support, and belonging for individuals with special needs and their families. We believe that every child of God is uniquely created and inherently worthy of love.

Our prayer is that all those living with special needs will encounter the transforming power of His love and experience the fullness of true belonging.

Everyone will be dressed in what’s comfortable. Some people rock button-ups. Others T-Shirts. If you look extra snazzy, more power to you. Feel comfortable to be yourself.

Each weekend we gather to hear fresh, relevant, teaching from the bible that will impact your real life. We speak to non-christians and christians alike because we’re a church that exists for the East Valley.

A band leads us in a time of musical worship to Jesus. We have response times where people can go be prayed for, take communion (eat bread and drink juice remembering what Jesus did for us), or give to the mission.

If you’re new, we don’t pressure you to do things like take communion or give money. We actually don’t want you to. We give as a church to create space for you. We genuinely care about you and you’re our valued guest.

We are a non-denominational church guided by the London Baptist Confession of 1689, anchored in the Historic Christian Confessions, imbued by the wisdom of Christian history, and affiliated with doctrinally sound Christian networks: Vision Arizona and Strategic Launch Network.

We’re serious about robust verse by verse bible teaching and passionate Spirit-filled living. We believe the Spirit is at work bringing about order and beauty in the life of Christians the same today as in the early church because He is unchanging.

So glad you asked!

We’d love for you to visit and consider joining a group! Check out our open groups HERE. All followers of Jesus are called to advance the mission by making disciples. This can look like sharing your faith, inviting someone to church, or simply living like Christ to show how worthy He is.
